In collaboration with local designer, Amy Benton, this window covering project was completed for Visit
Visalia, located in downtown Visalia. Amy was working on a design that would show some popular and
interesting locations for tourists visiting the Visalia area. After being contacted, we took a site survey:
photos and measurements of the requested window. They really wanted to be able to be able to see
through the window, which was going to present a challenge. With clear vinyl, anything that gets printed
will lose visibility of the artwork. So we presented them with a couple of samples and put them on their
window to see the difference. Ultimately, they chose to go with a translucent film that would still let in
light, but the visibility through the window would be blocked. The result is a striking visual piece designed
to catch the eye of people walking by.
